Chester Greenwood Day Parade & Celebration

In celebration of Farmington native and earmuff inventor, Chester Greenwood, a day of festive events will be taking place throughout downtown Farmington. The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce is kicks off the 39th Annual Chester Greenwood Day Parade (line up at 10am, parade starts at 11 am). This year’s parade theme is “Favorite Character” so show us your favorite book, movie, tv or video game character and don’t forget to include earmuffs on your float! The days events include a gingerbread house and chili contest, horse drawn wagon rides, craft fairs, polar dip in Clearwater Lake (in Industry), historical open houses, the Rotary’s festival of trees and more. The evening tree lighting with hot chocolate and popcorn will be at 5pm at 198 Front Street
